Midtown Bombers take out Atlanta League trophy |

The Midtown Bombers lived up to the early season form and were easy winners in the 2005 Fosters Metro League Grand Final on Saturday at NH Scott Park. After a first quarter that was relatively even the Bombers bolted away from the Roswell Rebels when the Rebels were reduced by a player for most of the second term. From there the younger and faster legs of the Bombers led by Brent Bacon, Jason Barnes, Dan Heffernan and James Glenn proved too much for the ladder leaders the Rebels. Justin Biggs the big scorer of the day with 10 goals for the Bombers. Final scores were Bombers 27.19.181 to Rebels 8.9.57. This completes the Fosters Metro League season where four clubs competed on a regular basis in local games in Atlanta.
