Kookas Women's footy team ready for Nationals |

The Kookaburras women's team has been announced and is ready to travel to Milwaukee Wisconsin for the inaugural USAFL Women's Footy National Championships. The 12 girls traveling with the men's team for games over the Oct1-2 weekend come from a variety of backgrounds that include, soccer, rugby and Gaelic team sports. Interesting enough nearly all players participated in the exhibition game at the Atlanta USAFL National Championships in 2004. The team is, Denise LaFaver, Judith Stein, Amy Mason, Saskia Wurche, Nicki Peoples, Cathi Dugger, Kris Kubicek, Cathy Reinhardt, Pernille Christensen, Kimberly Wilkins, Dewy Mitchell, Jennifer Sarbacker. Supported by Shannon Scott. Everyone at the Kookaburras wishes the girls the best of luck in all games and hope that success comes there way.
