Kookaburras appoint their coaches for 2006 |

The Kookaburras are pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Powers as Head coach of the Kookaburras for 2006. Mike who was the founder of the club and most recently awarded the clubs first Life Membership. Mike's passion for the game is like no other and he becomes the first American to have full control as Head Coach of the Kookas. Congratulations Mike.!!! Mike has been quick to approve the appointment of Lance Van Putten as his Assistant coach. Lance a former Revo representative to Australia and MAAFL Mvp when playing for Nashville also brings an enthusiasm for the game like you have not seen before. Mike together with Lance will put the Kookas team back on track to success in 2006 and beyond. The Women's Coach this year will again be Wayne Kraska as they try to continue their undefeated run and maintain their USAFL National Champions status
