Atlanta Kookaburras

The Kookaburras headed over to Reading UK to start their 2006 campaign in an event with a truly international flavor. The Atlanta club were returning the favor of the Reading Kangaroos that had traveled down to play here in Atlanta in 2005.

The Kookaburras although light in numbers had a great time playing three games against the Reading Kangaroos, West London Wildcats and the Nth Copenhagen Barracudas from Denmark. Although the results did not all go the Kookaburras way the camaraderie of the event ensured old friendships were renewed and many new ones formed.
