The Kookaburras have no doubts about it, the Nashville Kangaroos are their fiercest rivals and the team they love to beat. Maybe its because they have played no other club more times, with many of those encounters at the Nashville Festival games each September. Whatever the reason the Kookaburas v Kangaroos game is always the must win game for both teams each season
In recent years Nashville have had two wins over the Atlanta squad with a win at home last year by just 5 points and a suprise win away in Atlanta in 2004 by 23 points. Be assured the Kookaburras are looking to set the record straight and regain some lost pride this coming Saturday with a win against their arch rivals. A lot will depend on how well Nashville travels this week and if they can bring their best squad. The Kookaburras on the other hand are looking to repeat their last home game performance when they completely dominated the Chicago United team in July. That form should be good enough to take out Nashville but beleive us they wont go down without one helluva fight. Everything looks set for a classic encounter. |
