Kooka teams head to Colorado this week |

The Atlanta Kookaburras and Lady Kookaburras head to Colorado Springs CO this weekend for the USAFL National Championships. Over 1000 players are expected at the event from 30 men's and 6 women's teams. The Kooka fellas will take their place in Div 3 this year teaming up for the first time with their friendly rivals the Baton Rouge Tigers. There they will take on teams from Golden Gate, Philadelphia & St Louis, with the latter being the favorites and the toughest to beat.
The Lady Kookas have a bunch of new opponents this year with the first time appearances of teams from New York, Denver and Calgary. The Lady Kookaburras are shooting for their 4th straight National Championship title with seven players ready to make it four in a row.
