Atlanta Kookaburras

The Atlanta Kookaburras have a bunch of things happening this month. Its starts with training now going on 3 times a week as the Kookas prepare for games away in Nashville then a home game on September 20th against the Milwaukee Bombers. On the same day the Atlanta Lady Kookaburras will play the Milwaukee Lady Bombers who are combining with a new women's team out of New York.

Both games are sure to be a great spectacle. Come down and listen to a live commentary from none other than Australia's own Nigel "The Hack" Packer and enjoy food from the Kooka's sponsor the Australian Bakery Cafe

This Saturday is bring a friend day for the women's team. A leisurely afternoon BBQ after training watching some semi final action from Round 1 of the finals in Melbourne Australia on the big screen. Game time on September 20th is 12.30pm for the women's game and 2.30 pm for the men's with the pre game starting at 2.00pm. Dont be late bring some chairs or a blanket and the whole family and enjoy the last home games for the Kookas in 2008
