Kookas away to Baton Rouge Saturday |

The Atlanta Kookaburras men's team travel to Baton Rouge Louisiana this coming weekend for their first road game of the year. The trip down to play the Baton Rouge Tigers has been an eventful one the last couple of times. Last year traveling with a light squad the Kookas were up against it at half time when Jim Batten tore up his knee. With no reserves available Batten in true Kooka spirit played the rest of the game out standing in the goalsquare and the rest of the team responded to go away to a great victory. One of the best road victories the Kookas have seen.
Two years back there wasn't so much joy as the Tigers mauled a depleted Kookaburra team into an embarrassing loss. Both those games are sure to inspire the Kookas this week in Baton Rouge. The possible line up is as follows.
