This week Michael Johns on American Idol's top twelve choose the Beatles classic 'Across the Universe' to stay in the race on America's most watched TV show. Michael certainly had a solid performance but didnt impress Simon Cowell who said he is waiting for Michael to break out and show him his best.
Later current President of the Atlanta Kookaburras and one of Michaels best friends here in Atlanta Mike Powers was featured on Fox 5 News in Atlanta with Michael also. Telling how great it was having Michael playing footy in Atlanta a few years back, Mike said when Michael was about we not only got to see his great footy skills kicking 11 goals in one game but also the ladies came out to hang out and that was always good to see.
