Former Atlanta Kookaburra Michael Johns is impressing many people after his great audition on American Idol in San Diego. Known to us here in Atlanta as popular local singer Mike Lee, Michael has spent many a night here in Atlanta entertaining his fans and close friends at the now closed CJs Landing.

Mike played 10 games for the Kookas over the 2001-2002 seasons and kicked 24 goals in that time playing mainly at Center Half Forward. This still ranks him 6th on the all time goalkicking table.
