After the Nationals it was a quieter affair at the MVP awards night again at the Marriott hotel in Dunwoody. Best and Fairest award (MVP) went to Bjorn Farrugia who just beat Irishman Barry Collins. Wayne Kraska again received the Consul Generals Kookaburras Cup for service to international relations through Australian Rules Football. Best Clubman award went to Mick Frost. Special club volunteers that were instrumental in the successful USAFL Nationals in Atlanta were presented with a fleeced pullover from the AFL.
