David Croft was the runaway winner of the Best & Fairest award (MVP) in 2002. The event held in the Tango room of CJs landing was memorable for trying to fit in the presentations and voting between sets by the band downstairs. Mike Powers was absent but was awarded the first ever Kookaburras Cup trophy from the Atlanta Consul Generals office.
