The 2002 Kansas City Nationals were held about 25 mins south of downtown. The weather was rather cold and windy and the fields were in poor condition. The Kookaburras played in Div 1 for the first time against eventual winners Denver also Boston and Nashville. The team went 0-3 in those games but did well just the same.
