Lady Kookas footy kicks off this week |

The Lady Kookaburras begin the defence of their National Championship title with a full scale pick up game this Saturday at Creel Park Atlanta commencing at 12.30pm. The following week the team heads to Sarasota Florida for a challenge game against the Florida Fusion, the team they beat to take the title in October last year. The Kookas team have been in training now for 12 weeks in preparation for the games ahead and are looking forward to showing what improvement they have made since last year. The team intends to travel strong with 14 players to Sarasota including four new players about to embark on their rookie careers as Aussie Rules Footy players.
