The Atlanta Kookaburras Australian Rules Football Club is a thriving self funded and governed 501(c)(3) organization bringing the exciting game of Aussie Rules football to the people of Atlanta to enjoy, either as participants or spectators. The club has already had a colorful and successful 10 year history with many great achievements on and of the field. The Kookaburras hosted the 2004 USAFL National Championships and put on a wonderful weekend of football for 750 players and special guests from 27 different teams. With a traveling schedule that often takes the team to many corners of the USA there is plenty for the average sports lover to like about the club. The social activities and after game parties are another way we not only enjoy the sport but each others company. Many of those good times are also shared by visiting teams and supporters, friendships are forged and good times are a plenty. In 2005 the club also started the Atlanta Lady Kookaburras who till this date remain undefeated and have three National titles to their name. Along with the emerging local league the Atlanta Australian Rules Football League you can see there is much to do for club administrators and players alike.
